The staff at St John’s Catholic Primary School is committed to the delivery of quality educational programs. As part of this commitment we ensure that students use technology as an integral tool for learning.
Each classroom at St John’s has access to a variety of digital technology. All classrooms have an interactive whiteboard, Apple TVs, laptop computers, Chromebooks and iPads.
Technology is used across the day in all key learning areas. Children use a variety of apps and tools to enhance cooperation and collaboration. We believe technology offers opportunities for children to create, edit and share their learning across mediums and platforms.
Additionally, we hold two lunchtime Coding Clubs during the week: K-2 and 3-6. The children use a variety of coding apps and have access to programmable technology such as drones, Spheros, Beebots and Edison robots.
